Karate training sessions with 7th Dan Fiore Tartaglia
2x per day (= on 6 days), except arrival and departure day
1st training session: from 8:30 to 10:00

Karate program
Deepening the basic principles
Developing a better understanding of karate specific movements and principles (contrasts, tension-relaxation, body control, coordination, breathing and even more). In addition, it will be shown how to create a bridge between karate in the Dōjō and one's own everyday life in order to sustainably increase one's quality of life.

Focus on 1-2 kata (decision in the group)
Learning and deepening. Not only the technical aspect and bunkai will be scrutinized, but also the basic teachings and messages of the kata.

Each of the rooms, with private bathroom, is located in a private villa and offers the following benefits:

Catering

• Every morning water, coffee, tea, yogurt and fresh fruit are available for self-service.
• Every morning, after the first training session, a large brunch buffet is prepared.
• At lunchtime, various snacks are available.
• Every evening, after the second training session, dinner is served at the table on the terrace with sea view.
• 1x Pizza night (instead of a regular dinner) - on this evening the pizzas are freshly prepared in the villa's own pizza oven on the terrace according to individual wishes.

A private kitchen team conjures up and serves a colorful mix of fresh dishes (fish, meat + vegetarian fare in rotation) every day. The organic vegetables and fruits come directly from the garden. Alcoholic beverages and soft drinks are not included, but can be ordered separately.

Special requests for meals and intolerances will of course be taken into account and should be mentioned at the time of booking.

What is the Karate Retreat?

The Karate Retreat is a week among like-minded people (focus on karateka) with two intensive karate training sessions per day (except the arrival and departure day) under the guidance of 7th Dan Karateka Fiore Tartaglia.

A combination of karate training, coaching and vacation with joint activities, meals, mutual exchange and pure relaxation.

For this purpose, a very special location was chosen in Sardinia - a private villa, exclusively reserved for the karate retreat participants and their companions, which offers space for about 20 guests with a total of 10 bedrooms.

True to the motto: KARATE. EAT. SLEEP. REPEAT.

Outside of the karate program, there will be plenty of time to enjoy the benefits of this special villa and the island, with its indescribably beautiful nature.

The Karate Retreat will be held in German, but of course every Karateka is welcome and if needed, there will be an English and Italian translation.

Of course, Non-Karateka are also welcome to accompany you - there will be plenty of opportunities to spend the time there.

About the Karate Retreat leader Fiore Tartaglia

Fiore Tartaglia holds the 7th Dan Shōtōkan. He has been practicing and living his karate for over 49 years, in his own Dōjō Taikikan and in his daily life. Booking procedure

1. Select your desired room for single or double occupancy (the two rooms "Starry Nights" and "The King's Stork" can also be occupied by three people).
   
2. With the purchase you confirm your participation in the Karate Retreat in Sardinia in October 2023 - the mentioned cancellation conditions apply.
   
3. Afterwards you will receive an email with all information about your booking. If you have any questions, please do not hesitate to contact us.

Further information:

• Accompanying persons (Non-Karateka) will not be charged for the karate program (is already included in the booking option "1 Karateka & 1 Non-Karateka").
• 100% of the costs will be charged directly at the time of booking. If desired, payment in two installments is possible, please contact us for this by e-mail: info@ft-karate.com

Recommendation:
Please secure yourself for your own protection with a travel health insurance and if necessary also with a travel cancellation insurance.

Cancellation policy

• 90 days prior to start date:
  100% refund will be given for cancellations received by 07/23/2023.
  
• 30 days prior to start date:
  For cancellations received by 09/21/2023, 50% of the costs will be refunded.
  
• 7 days prior to start date:
  Cancellations received after 10/14/2023 will NOT be refunded.

All cancellations must be received in writing form (via email to: info@ft-karate.com) by the dates listed to be considered. The receipt of the cancellation email must be confirmed by FT-KARATE. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please call and follow up in case your email ended up in the spam folder.
