Right of Withdrawal for Consumers
(A consumer is any natural person who enters into a legal transaction for purposes that are predominantly neither attributable to their commercial nor their self-employed professional activity.)

Withdrawal Policy

1. Right of Withdrawal for Goods
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period shall be 14 days from the day

on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods, provided that you have ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and these are delivered together;
on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last good, provided that you have ordered several goods as part of a single order and these are delivered separately;
on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the last partial shipment or the last item, provided that you have ordered goods that are delivered in several partial shipments or pieces.

To exercise your right of withdrawal, you must inform us (Fiore Tartaglia, Eichenstraße 8, 73037 Göppingen, telephone number: +49 7161 78925, email address: info@ft-karate.com) of your decision to withdraw from this contract by means of a clear statement (e.g. a letter sent by post or an email). You may use the attached model withdrawal form, but this is not mandatory.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than 14 days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise with you; in no case will you be charged any fees for this reimbursement.

We may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof that you have returned the goods, whichever is the earlier date.

You must return or hand over the goods to us or to Spectra Design & Verlag, Eichenstraße 8, 73037 Göppingen, without undue delay and in any event no later than 14 days from the day on which you inform us of your withdrawal from this contract. The deadline is met if you send the goods before the 14-day period has expired.

You shall bear the direct costs of returning the goods.
You are only liable for any diminished value of the goods resulting from handling other than what is necessary to establish the nature, characteristics, and functioning of the goods.

Exclusion and Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts

for the supply of goods that are not prefabricated and for the production of which an individual selection or determination by the consumer is decisive or which are clearly tailored to the personal needs of the consumer;
for the supply of goods that are liable to perish quickly or whose expiry date would be exceeded quickly;
for the supply of alcoholic beverages whose price was agreed upon at the time of the conclusion of the contract, but which can only be delivered at least 30 days after the conclusion of the contract and whose current value depends on fluctuations in the market over which the trader has no control;
for the supply of newspapers, periodicals, or magazines, with the exception of subscription contracts.

The right of withdrawal expires prematurely for contracts

for the supply of sealed goods which are not suitable for return for reasons of health protection or hygiene if their seal has been removed after delivery;
for the supply of goods which, after delivery, have been inseparably mixed with other goods due to their nature;
for the supply of sound or video recordings or computer software in a sealed package if the seal has been removed after delivery.

You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period shall be fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. If you have requested that the services for which the contract provides for payment of a price should begin during the withdrawal period, you shall pay us an appropriate amount corresponding to the proportion of the services already provided up to the time at which you inform us of the exercise of the right of withdrawal with regard to this contract, compared to the total scope of the services provided for in the contract.

Exclusion and Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal does not apply to contracts for the provision of services in connection with leisure activities if the contract provides for a specific date or period for the provision.

The right of withdrawal expires in the case of a contract for the provision of services that obliges the consumer to pay a price upon full performance of the service, if the consumer has expressly consented prior to the commencement of the service that the trader begins performance of the service before the expiry of the withdrawal period and has confirmed their knowledge that their right of withdrawal expires upon full performance of the contract by the trader.

3. Cancellation and Withdrawal Conditions for Karate Retreats
For bookings of FT-KARATE retreats, the following cancellation and withdrawal conditions apply, as stated on the respective product page and forming an integral part of the contract:

Up to 30 days before the start: 100% refund
30–15 days before the start: 70% refund
14–7 days before the start: 50% refund
6–2 days before the start: 30% refund
1–0 days before the start: no refund

Cancellation must be made in writing by email to info@ft-karate.com and shall only become effective upon our confirmation.

Note on the Statutory Right of Withdrawal
The retreats offered constitute services in connection with leisure activities that take place on a specific date or during a specific period.
Pursuant to Section 312g (2) No. 9 of the German Civil Code (BGB), there is no statutory right of withdrawal for such services.

Independently of this, we voluntarily grant our customers the above cancellation and withdrawal options. These apply in addition to our general terms and conditions and are a binding part of the contract.

4. Right of Withdrawal for Digital Content
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within fourteen days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period shall be fourteen days from the day of the conclusion of the contract.

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the withdrawal period expires.

Consequences of Withdrawal
If you withdraw from this contract, we shall reimburse all payments received from you, including delivery costs (with the exception of additional costs resulting from your choice of a delivery method other than the cheapest standard delivery offered by us), without undue delay and no later than fourteen days from the day on which we receive notification of your withdrawal from this contract. Expiry of the Right of Withdrawal
The right of withdrawal expires in the case of a contract for the supply of digital content not supplied on a tangible medium, which obliges the consumer to pay a price, if the consumer

has expressly consented to the trader beginning performance of the contract before the expiry of the withdrawal period, and
has confirmed their knowledge that by giving their consent, they lose their right of withdrawal upon the commencement of performance of the contract, and
the trader has provided the consumer with confirmation of the contract on a durable medium within a reasonable period after the conclusion of the contract, at the latest at the time when the digital content not supplied on a tangible medium is made available,

in which the content of the contract is reproduced, and
which records that the consumer has expressly consented, prior to performance of the contract, to the trader beginning performance before the expiry of the withdrawal period and has confirmed their knowledge that by giving their consent, they lose their right of withdrawal upon commencement of performance.

5. Right of Withdrawal for Consumers (Orders from the USA)
You have the right to withdraw from this contract within 14 days without giving any reason.

The withdrawal period shall be 14 days from the day

on which you or a third party designated by you, who is not the carrier, has taken possession of the goods, provided that you have ordered one or more goods as part of a single order and these are delivered together;
on which you or a third party designated by you has taken possession of the last good, provided that several goods are delivered separately;
on which you or a third party designated by you has taken possession of the last partial shipment or the last item, provided that goods are delivered in several partial shipments or pieces.

Exercise of the Right of Withdrawal

To meet the withdrawal deadline, it is sufficient for you to send your notification of exercising the right of withdrawal before the deadline expires.

For this reimbursement, we will use the same means of payment that you used for the original transaction, unless expressly agreed otherwise. No fees will be charged for the reimbursement.

We may refuse reimbursement until we have received the goods back or until you have provided proof of return, whichever is the earlier date.

In the event of a valid withdrawal, the goods must be returned within 14 days after submission of the withdrawal declaration to the following address:
