Karate Dōjō Taikikan

Taikikan: School of the body and inner energy

The path of Karate begins in the mind

This philosophy is also practiced in their Karate school – the Taikikan Karate Dōjō. "Taikikan" means "school of the body and inner energy."

For us, Karate is a martial art that shapes people in all aspects and is also a way of life, because the experiences gained in the Dōjō shape our everyday lifes.

The path of Karate is not a quick one, but a steady one. Every step—every technique, every challenge—opens up new insights about oneself. Thus, the Dōjō becomes a place of personal development, where each karateka determines for themselves what Karate means to them.

The principles we internalize in training—respect, perseverance, humility, and courage—we carry with us into our daily lives. Thus, karate becomes a silent companion, an inner compass that guides us even long after we've left the dojo.

Because the true path of karate does not end after training – it begins anew with every conscious breath.
