10 karate training sessions:
Over 6 days (excluding the arrival and departure days), led by 7th Dan Fiore Tartaglia. Each session is designed to challenge and develop you both physically and mentally.

2 meditation sessions:
Support you in gaining mental clarity and increasing focus on body and mind – a valuable addition to physical karate training.

2 theory units:
These build directly on the practical training sessions and offer a holistic perspective. They help you better understand the principles and philosophy behind the movements and recognize their application in everyday life.

Karate Retreat Guidebook:
Your perfect companion for an intensive and inspiring retreat. With anecdotes, questions, and space for personal notes, it will support you in developing your karate and yourself.

Careful conception and organization:
We design the karate retreat with the utmost care and work closely with our partner hotel and the local community to offer you an intensive and enriching karate experience.
Note: Accommodation and meals are not included in the price.

Discover leisure activities:
We present you carefully selected activities in southern Sardinia, some of which we have tried ourselves or are recommended by Sardinians, and we put you in touch with local organizers – whether excursions with local tour guides, sports activities or cultural experiences that can enrich your time alongside karate and make it unforgettable.

Karate Retreat No. 1: from May 31 to June 7, 2025 (Saturday to Saturday).

Karate Retreat No. 2: from October 11 to October 18, 2025 (Saturday to Saturday).

Fiore Tartaglia, the director of the karate retreat, holds the 7th Dan Shōtōkan and has been practicing and living karate since 1974 – in his own Taikikan dojo and in his daily life. As Europe's most widely read karate author with 10 published books and a Millennium Trainer since 2014, he brings deep knowledge, experience, and passion to his training.

Note: Should Fiore Tartaglia be unable to lead the karate retreat for unforeseen reasons, we reserve the right to have the karate retreat program conducted by a qualified and experienced instructor from his karate school, "Taikikan." The substitute instructor will not entitle you to a refund of the participation fee; the cancellation conditions listed apply.

Private lessons with Fiore Tartaglia:
Take the opportunity to book a personal coaching session or a private karate session with 7th Dan Fiore Tartaglia during the karate retreat week:

Karate session: Choose between a private lesson or a small group session to work specifically on your techniques.

Coaching: Choose individual or small group coaching to achieve your goals effectively and individually.

To secure your appointment, add the note "Karate Retreat 2025" to your shopping cart. Before the retreat week begins, we will coordinate the exact date and time for your private lesson with you.

Participation in the karate retreat is open to karateka from blue belt upwards to ensure that all participants have the necessary technical foundation for the intensive training.

We reserve the right to cancel the karate retreat if the required minimum number of participants is not reached eight weeks before the start date. In this case, any payments already made through our shop will be fully refunded. Further claims are excluded.

Recommended accommodation

The karate retreat takes place on the grounds of our partner hotel – a 4-star hotel on the beautiful beach of Nora in southern Sardinia. Surrounded by crystal-clear waters and stunning natural scenery, it provides the ideal setting for the FT-KARATE retreat. The accommodation is approximately a 45-minute drive from Cagliari Airport.

Note: Bookings for the hotel with half board are made directly via the partner hotel's website. For more information, see "Booking Process."

Would you like to bring a non-karateka companion to the retreat? No problem—companions are welcome!

You can make your booking directly through our partner hotel. All we need is the name of your companion.

Booking process

Book a karate retreat program:
Secure your spot for the karate retreat program for €550 (including 22% VAT in Italy) per karateka directly in our shop. The stated cancellation policy applies.

Get hotel discount code:
After booking the karate retreat program in our shop, you will receive a hotel discount code via email, which you can use to book your room including half board directly through the partner hotel's website at special rates (which we will be happy to provide upon request). Bookings are independent of the karate retreat program; the hotel's cancellation policy on the respective website applies.

After booking, you will receive all further information about the karate retreat by email.

Arrival:
Please organize your own arrival/transfer and note any important information in our retreat confirmation email.
Notes:
- Please note that access to the hotel grounds and training areas is reserved exclusively for hotel guests.

- We recommend that you take out travel cancellation, international health and accident insurance.

- Cancellations up to 30 days before the start date: 100% of the costs will be refunded.
- Cancellations between 30 and 15 days before the start date: 70% of the costs will be refunded.
- Cancellations between 14 and 7 days before the start date: 50% of the costs will be refunded.
- Cancellations between 6 and 2 days before the start date: 30% of the costs will be refunded.
- Cancellations between 1 and 0 days before the start date: the costs will not be refunded.

All cancellations of the karate retreat program must be received in writing (via email to info@ft-karate.com) by the specified dates to be considered. Receipt of the cancellation email must be confirmed by FT-KARATE. If you do not receive a confirmation email, please call and follow up in case your email ended up in your spam folder.
